Executing a batch file on a remote computer (VBScript)
I am trying to create a vbscript to execute another file on a remote machine. A colleague has already created the bat file to run on the remote computer but we have not been able to execute it successfully from the local computer.
If the person running the script is not an administrator on the remote machine is there any secure way of including the required username and password in the resultant script.
Has anyone done something like this in the past that I can modify? I am assuming that I need to get something like telnet installed on the remote computer but would appreciate inputs from any direction at the moment.Andrew Lockton, Chrysalis Design, Melbourne Australia
