    'OutputTo' isn't available (XP SP1/ Access 2003)

I'm emailing reports from my app, via an open Outlook 2000 session, with the following syntax:

DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, varReport, acFormatSNP, varTO, , , varSub, varBody, False

Sometimes, but not all the time, it generates the following error message:

"The command or action 'OutputTo' isn't available now" (Err 2046)

Are you aware of a way to force the send?

Are you sending several reports in succession? That could cause a timing problem; you might try building in a delay in between.

Brilliant! A five second delay solved the problem. Thanks again Hans.
