Calendar Combo Control (Access 2000 >)

Is there an ActiveX Control that is similar to the calendar controls used in Outlook? Most combo dropdowns in Outlook that require date/time info drop down a small calendar control that allows the user to select a date! Is this control unique to Outlook, or can this type of combo box calendar dropdown be used when building forms in Access? Up till know I have used the ActiveX Calendar 10 control in my forms; but its so big and clunky, or I design it as a seperate calendar form that I refer to and open it in code. This is a hassle to do...!

Any advice or solutions regarding the use of the combo calendar control (from Outlook) in Access!
    Regards,
    Rudi

The Microsoft Date and Time Picker control comes with Visual Studio products such as Visual Basic 6, and with the Developer Edition of Office / Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003. You need to have one of these to be able to distribute the control to others.

It's a pity it is not available as a standard ActiveX control. The date picker control is extremely handy!

    Another question.
If I do have Visual Basic 6, or the Developer Edition of Office / Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003, and I build that date picker into a form. Will it be functional if I distribute the application DB to ather machines?

Those products include a utility to create an installation package that will install your database plus the necessary extra files.

You might want to explore some of the more advanced Active-X controls from other vendors - the Microsoft ones are useful, but have a number of limitations. As an example look at the controls from http://www.dbi-tech.com.
