I noticed that if you have a linked formula in a cell that points to another sheet. (I.e. In cell A1, type: =Sheet2!E5), and you disable the "Edit directly in a cell" option, you can double click on the linked formula and the "cursor" goes to (jumps) that cell.
It could be useful for referencing other locations in a workbook like cross references, but you also forfeit the editing of cell content in the cell.
