We have a form merge set up with the filename field with path { filename /p } in the footer. The page layout is set to "New page" so that each record will start on a new page.

When the form is merged with the data, the resulting document has the RESULT of the filename field as text in the footer, and each footer is NOT "same as previous", so if we want to put the proper filename in, we'll have to go in and manually correct this. (Don't have access to a VBA guru.)

What's going on/wrong? What can we do to put it right?
