    Filter for words/add (2002)

    i need to block all mail through outlook except 30 odd addresses and allow any address through if they obtain 1 of 30 words

    can anyone point me pls thanks

    Where is the mail coming from? A local mail server or direct from your ISP?
    I don't think you can simply 'block' it by not downloading it if it is in your mailbox - it will just stay there forever. Have you looked at setting up rules? Something like "If the senders address contains...... .....then stop processing more rules". You have a final rule to delete the mail it if it doesn't match any of the preceding ones.

    In Outlook 2003 you can set Actions | Junk E-mail | Junk Mail Options to accept only messages from a "Safe List" by checking the "Safe List Only" option and entering the allowed e-mail addresses into the Safe List. Perhaps a Lounger using XP can advise if the same capability exists or can be emulated in XP.
