    Log in tunes (XP home)

I share my PC with other family members. I never liked all the MS tunes you get when you log in. I used to just delete the files that are the tunes. But the family like them. How can I disable the feature for when I log in, etc?

    Regards
    Will

    Select Start | Control Panel.
Open Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices.
    Open Sounds and Audio Devices.
    Activate the Sounds tab.
Set the sound for the events you want to be silent to (None).
These are per-user settings, so your family members can keep the sounds while you turn them off.

Thanks, Hans. I had got it set just that way, but I unset it then reset it and it works!
