    V-cards (Outlook 2003)

    Hey,

I installed Outlook 2003 on my wife's computer and have Outlook 2000 on mine. When I send a contact as a v-card it does not keep the information in the notes section. Is this a glitch between versions?

    TIA for your help.

No, it's because the vCard format doesn't contain all the elements/fields in an Outlook Contact. From Outlook 2003 send yourself a vCard of a Contact that includes notes, and you'll see that the notes are omitted from the VCard.

    Hey,

I found a message on the net that said the problem was a bug in Outlook 2003 and that it was fixed with SP1. Installed SP1 and problem solved.

    Thank you for your help.

    <img src=/S/thumbup.gif border=0 alt=thumbup width=15 height=15> That's good to know. It seems I need to speak to a nice lady about a Service Pack.
