    email accounts (xp)

I am developing a database, and have been asked to create a query which, with certain criteria selects a group of email addresses which we need to then send a newsletter to. The newsletter will be in Word.

Have you any ideas how I can extract these email addresses so that they can put it into the bcc of an email. I tried to do through mail merge, but it didnt seem to let me use bcc? (Using XP) any ideas?

    Thanking you all in advance

If you are using Outlook, you can control it through Automation. See for example the thread starting at <post#=383300>post 383300</post#>. Also see How to use Automation to send a Microsoft Outlook message using Access 2000.

You'll want to download and install the free utility Express ClickYes. This will suppress the annoying warning "A program is trying to send an e-mail on your behalf...".
