    Seconds in a Leap Year

Using just 2 digits, describe the number of seconds in a Leap Year?

Does it matter which two fingers we use?

I supposed you just got Lucky with the answer...

    You probably thought I was really asking <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">How many digits does Hans have?</span hide> and you got the correct answer <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    Wouldn't <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">the 22nd</span hide> count as a "second"?

Re: Seconds in a Leap Year

I am not the originator of the question, so I could not possible answer <img src=/S/angel.gif border=0 alt=angel width=15 height=21>

    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold"> so I agree, using your logic it would be :

    for each 12 (months) x 20 ( seconds) = 240

    and

    12 (months) x 1 (seconds) =12

So there are a total of 252 seconds in a leap year </span hide>

Re: Seconds in a Leap Year

    Well, on my logic, I make it <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">24

    12 x 2nd of each month +
    12 x 22nd of each month</span hide>

    A play on words sir

    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold"> there are always 22nds in a month (say it out loud) therefore 20 x seconds in a month</span hide>
