    Directory list box - replacement (VB6 )

There is a feature of the Directory list box control that I can't get around easily - It will not display hidden folders. I am searching for a
replacement control that will eliminate this problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Since this is for my own use, I don't want to spend megabucks for it.

The directory list box is a remnant of Windows 3.x. If you want to select a file, the Microsoft Common Dialog control is better, and if you want to pick a folder, you can use the BrowseForFolder API, see for example <post#=443270>post 443270</post#>.

Hans, I have looked at the BrowseForFolder API as a possible alternative. It just requires that I write a bit more code.

Thanks for the link to the prior post .
