    delete query (Access 2000)

    I refer to the advice given by the Moderator of the present forum to build a query with a left join.I have followed the instructions and have built this query with a success. However, i need now to delete all those products that have IsNull in the other table.
    On trying to execute the delete query i received the message " specify the table containing the
    records you want to delete" What does it mean ? How can i improve my
    delete query? The sql content of my query is the following:

    DELETE products.Productid, products.grade, products.size, products.pack, Preisliste.Code
    FROM products LEFT JOIN Preisliste ON products.code = Preisliste.Code
    WHERE (((Preisliste.Code) Is Null));

    Re: delete query (Access 2000)

    Change it to the following:

    DELETE DISTINCTROW products.*, Preisliste.Code
    FROM products LEFT JOIN Preisliste ON products.code = Preisliste.Code
    WHERE (((Preisliste.Code) Is Null));
