Word Printing to Seiko Smart Label Printer (Word XP)

We have Smart Label printers that are shared printers. One thing I have never been able to do is get address labels to print from Word directly to the Smart Label Printer. This then means that users have to copy the address out of the Word document, open up the Smart Label program and paste the address into it and then print.

Is there a way to have Word XP print labels directly to the Smart label printers?

I know that there is a Smart Capture feature with these printers that is workable with stand alone computers. Howver, it does not seem to be available when pritner is shared.

I'm not familiar with this printer, but I have seen other label printers, which simply have a continuous strip of labels. I believe that Word's Envelopers and Labels dialog prints to the Active Printer. You might be able to write a macro that works around this by changing the printer before and after the user uses the dialog, but I don't have any way to test that idea.
