    Rule to forward E-Mails (2000)

    Hello,

I would like to create a rule to forward incoming emails to an external address outside office hours (Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m.until 5:00 p.m.). We use Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2000 as client.

An alternative could be to start the out-of-office assistant automatically if outlook is closed.

Is it possible to realize this with outlook and exchange?

    Hi,
I think you could do this with a server-side rule. There is no way to create the rule in Outlook so it would have to be done on the server. This article on MSDN gives some examples of creating server-side rules, including one on checking sent time.
    Hope that helps.
