Show Project Name (Level 0) on 1st Line (2000 SR1)

Does anyone know how to display the Project file name automatically on the first line (i.e., Task ID 1) within the *.mpp file? The last company that I worked at had a macro that took care of this automatically when we created new project files, but I don't have a clue where to start (e.g., what event to base the action on, or how to interact with the specific Task ID line).

The reasoning for this request is that in the past we have always included a "header" in each project file so that we could track the overall percent complete progress. I have been inserting project files into a Master file, and would prefer NOT to have the extra WBS level show in the Master project file, as the level "zero" is inserted automatically into the Master anyway.

Any help would be appreciated - thank you!

Try going to the menu bar and select Tools Options View tab. check Show Project Summary task.

This will give you a project summary task the same name as the plan name (as long as you have not put anything else in the Title area of File Properties). This will give you a Task0 and will not include this task in the WBS.
