    Data Sources in Word (2003)

In Word 2003, when I use Merge Documents, Is there some way to change the Default path? I NEVER save a data source in "Data Sources" on my C Drive <img src=/S/coffeetime.gif border=0 alt=coffeetime width=32 height=48>

The default path is stored in the Windows Registry. You can use RegEdit to change this path; be careful when editing the registry.
    - Select Start | Run...
    - Type regedit and press Enter.
    - Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0Common DataServices in the left hand pane.
    - Double click MyData in the right hand pane.
    - Change "My Data Sources" to the path you want as default data source path.
    - Click OK.
    - If Word was active while youy were editing the registry, you may have to quit and restart it to make it use the new path, I haven't actually tested that.
