    Heard of Excel 2001 ?

Well, here it is... and there are changes to it!

23 weird differences occur in this version of Excel!
See if you can spot them?
    Regards,

I have the Dutch version of Excel, and I have customized the toolbars, so I see many more differences! <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

    22 - <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">Arrow on font size option pointing upwards</span hide>
Using Excel 2003 quite a few of the buttons have changed so I can see many differences.

    15 - <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">Cell A1 selected but name box shows A11</span hide>
    16 - <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">Title bar shows Book, should be Book1 (or 2 etc)</span hide>
    17 - <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">Format button has a yellow line under it</span hide>
    18 - <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">Autosum button does not have a drop-down arrow for further options (or was that a new feature in a later version?)</span hide>

Added: I use Excel 2003, just found an image of an earlier version of Excel and it appears my answers to 17 & 18 are wrong, they are examples of changes made to Excel 2003

Re: Heard of Excel 2001 ?

Already got that one in my first post Tony. There's only 23 altogether according to Rudi, so I think we're done.

    Which is nice.

Re: Heard of Excel 2001 ?

I have verified your answers and you have missed 3.

    3 more to spot!!!

Some features that you listed are on the newer versions of Excel, like drop down arrow for autosum... That I don't count as an answer as the screen shot was based on excel 2000!

Well done....you need pretty sharp eyes for some. Just 3 more to go!
    Regards,
    Rudi

Re: Heard of Excel 2001 ?

You are right....I tend to forget that I am dealing with international posters.

I should add that the differences are compared to the standard installation of the english version of Office 2000! <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
    Regards,
    Rudi
