Is there a Win98 equivalent to the WinXp Task Manager Processes to determine what program is hogging the cpu cycles? Thanks.

    Re: task manager processes

It has been a long time since I used it but Windows 9x/ME Task Manager by Niresoft Solutions is a freeware task manager that replicates many of the features of the one used in 2000/XP.

Or you could try Process Explorer which has a load of extra functionality too, and can be found here .

    Re: task manager processes

I like Process Viewer for Windows NT and 95/98. Only 100KB <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>ware and very useful additional ability to be run from the commandline mode in batch files etc.
