    Navigation Pane Customization (Outlook 2003)

I'd like to change the Navigation Pane.

Any way to turn off or hide the "Favorite Folders" under the Mail heading? I prefered the OL2K folder view without the OL toolbar and shortcuts.

The navigation pane looks like a combination of the two and I'd like to see as many of my folders as possible without the "favorites" taking up real estate.

    Thanks.

On my 2003 installation, if I select the "Folder List" view in the nav pane, there are no Favorites (plus you see Public Folders). And if you grab the top of the bar separating the View icons and the folder pane, you can drag it down so the icons are minimized. See pic. Is that what you want?

    Yes, thank you.

I am now seeing how the customization works and it looks like I can approximate pretty closely want I had and want.
