Calculate across report groups! (Access 2000 >)

See the attached rtf output of a sample report!

    Question?
Is it possible to calculate a Price and Quantity total for Exotic Liquids (across the groups) and have this total display in the report, say in the report footer? Oviously to have totals for Pavlova, Norske and Gai products too! The problem is that the products are split across a group. The standard calculated fields will be subtotals for the Customer. This I do not need. The report must stay in the format represented by the attachment. How would I go about this???

The blue selected area indicated what I would like.
    Regards,
    Rudi

You could try a sub report which would be placed in the report footer. Sum the products in the subreport and treat it exactly as you would any other report

    Hi,
I tried this a couple of times and the subreport does not work. I generated a new query that summed the products of the same kind together and generated a new summary report of this query. Then I added it to the report as a subreport. It only shows the last record!!! I ensured there was a link to the product ID between the main and sub report! I also tried putting the subreport into the different areas of the main report. (In the grouped footer, in the report footer, etc.) This changed the output, but it only shows ONE record for each group. I need it to display as in the attachment...the blue area.

Thx for the suggestion Jaf90, but any other ideas???

(Is it not possible to calculate.. say : =sum(CustomerGroup1!Product1), =sum(CustomerGroup2!Product2)...?
    Regards,
    Rudi

In this case, you should NOT link the subreport to the main report.
