    emails - hide list (2003)

Is there a way that I can send a specific email to a group of people, but when each individual opens up that mail he doesn't all the other adressees? [He doesn't even have to see his own adress, if this helps]. This would sure beat having to send like 25 seperate emails...

    Yes.

    1. Put everyone on the bcc list, and send the message to yourself.

    2. Use Mail Merge, which is more complex, but sends an individual message to each recipient. There are several threads on using Mail Merge, including some instructions in <!post=this post,452709>this post<!/post>.

Select View | BCC Field in the e-mail window.
You can then enter the list of recipients in the BCC box. The BCC box is not visible to the recipients themselves.

Hans - in outlook 2003 I don't see BCC under the view menu. I got there by clicking on To... and then inserting the adressess in BCC. Is there any way that I can show BCC by default when I open up a new message?

BCC is not in the View menu of Outlook itself. It is in the View menu of an e-mail. The screenshot below is for Outlook 2002, I suppose it's more or less the same in Outlook 2003. Outlook "remembers" whether you selected View | BCC field, so next time you create a new e-mail, the BCC box will be visible.

Found it - in 2003 it lies on the toolbar, under options. Thanks.

Ah yes - you probably use Word as your e-mail editor, while I don't.
