Sorry Bandido, but all 3 guesses are not correct!

(It seems like I may need to get some clues going for this puzzle. I will work some out and post it shortly!)

    Bandido,

Your answer to No. 6 is absolutely correct. Can i ask you how you worked out that answer? Was this just a raw guess, or did you possible use an on-line english to latin translator?
    Regards,
    Rudi

    Hi Rudi,
#6 was for me the easiest. Just a combination of a little latin and general vocabulary.

Re: English 2 Latin 2 English

I thought I'd post the solutions to this puzzle as it has been around for a while and overdue its life. Bandido has been amazing with this....(this is certainly the most difficult puzzle I've posted to date, besides <!post= this one, 411453> this one<!/post>!)

    The solutions:
    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">bad - comparison: dis-parage
    bad - saying: male-diction
    black - humor: melan-choly
    body - eater: sarco-phagus
    from - hang - out - cut: ap-pend-ec(to)-tomy
    good - doer: bene-factor
    high - name: acro-nym
    spiral - wing: helic(o)-opter
    together - strike: con-flict
    water - maker: hydro-gen
    </span hide>
    Regards,
    Rudi
