toolbars arrangement (2003)

This may be akin to a previous conversation, but my question just "almost" addressed. If you have an atypical toolbar preference (some combination of toolbars on and off) is there a way to make this the default so that when Word loads, it loads your toolbar preferences?
    Thanks

You can add lines like this to your AutoExec macro:

CommandBars("Tables and Borders").Visible = True
    CommandBars("Formatting").Visible = False

    Re: toolbars arrangement (2003)

I wrote a procedure to store and then restore my exact toolbar layout for Outlook, since one of our add-ins conflicts with my preferred positioning (see <post#=343644>post 343644</post#>). There are some differences between Word and Outlook, but the code could be adapted pretty readily if you wished. However, the above suggestion might be all you need, since toolbars normally remember their last positions.
