    Change Insertion Point/Cursor (VBA/Office XP/Word 2003)

    Hello All,

    Is it possible to change the insertion point/cursor into an hour glass when I am running a macro in Word? I often use the StatusBar, but most end-users don't see it.

    Kyle,

    You should be able to use:

    System.Cursor = wdCursorWait

    The cursor should change back to a normal cursor when the macro has completed running, but to be on the safe side you can include this at the end of the macro:

    System.Cursor = wdCursorNormal

    There are a few other cursor constants available - check the VBA help.
