    You used command buttons from the Forms toolbar; they are always the color of Windows buttons. Those from the Control Toolbox can have a different color. See attached workbook. (The code is in the module for the January sheet).

    Sorting Data / Button Look (2003)

    I've attached a list of dummy data that has several macro (sort) buttons at the top of each column. What I'd like to do is have the buttons change appearance to indicate which one is "being used". By changing appearance, I mean changing shade, color, a big dot, a check mark on the button, etc. Something like that...

    As a (less desirable) alternative, it would probably be okay to have an image of a down arrow appear over the column, next to the macro buttons (rather than on the button) to indicate which column is being used for the sort.

    Can someone get me headed in the proper direction, please? Nothing's in concrete, suggestions encouraged! BUT no pivot tables or filters.
