Hi MaryAnn, your attachment hasn't made it to the post. You can edit your post and add the attachment. If the file is over 100 KB, zip it and attach the zip file.

    File/Path Name Font Won't Change (2000)

I have tried many times to change the font size of the path/file name in the attached file to size 8. On the screen it appears to have changed but as soon as I print the document, the font size jumps back up to 12. I've tested this on 2 different computers with 2 different printers and each time I have the same result. How can I make the font size stick to size 8?

Are you sure you selected the complete path/filename field in the page footer when you set font size to 8 points? When I opened your document, its font size was 12. I changed it to 8, and it stays that way when I print. I must admit that I use Word 2002, not Word 2000. I have attached the modified document.
If the problem persists, create a paragraph style with a font size of 8 points, and set the style of the line containing the path/filename field to that style.

I had the same results with Word 2002 over here too. Word 2000, though, won't hold the change.

Have you tried my suggestion of creating a custom style with a font size of 8 points and applying it to the line with the path/filename?

If that doesn't work, someone with Word 2000 will have to take over from me.

Yes, I did try to create a custom font - that didn't fix it. Anymore ideas?

Let's hope that someone with Word 2000 will help. Since your document prints/displays as intended on Word 2002, I cannot test further. Sorry.
