    blank report page (access 2000)

I have a simple database that I have been using for years. I extract sales information and landlord names and addresses from it. The problem is that when I now run my year end report it is blank in print preview except for the text boxes of names. I get #error? where the name and addresses are suppose to be. If I open the same report in layout preview I can see all the data and the names with yearly totals. What am I missing here? I have copies of year end ones from 2002 and that works perfectly in print preview. To the best of my knowledge nothing has changed as far as the design of the database. I just keep adding data to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know I can print the landlord data in layout preview, but that does not solve my problems with print preview. We have recently gotten new computers which had windows XP on them, they took off the Windows XP and put Windows 2000 on them as the operating system. Don't ask why, it is stupid.

Perhaps there are no data for the report. Layout view ignores criteria set on the record source, so it may not present a realistic view of the report, while print preview shows the data as they will be printed.

Thanks Hans, that was the answer. I reviewed my queries for the year end data and found that last year that I was putting an X in a column to signify that the store was done. Therefore, all the 120 records had X's and I was searching for records that did not equal X. I can't believe I did not remember this.

    Thanks again,
