Conditional Formatting of Filtered Data! (Excel XP >)

I have a large list of 10000> records in excel. I regularly filter the records between dates and this gives me groups of info (orders) occuring by date. I would like to apply conditional formatting to the entire records by date sothat it is easier to read the groups of data.

How would I go about setting the conditional formatting to change the interior fill of all records with the same date; the colour changing between the groups.

(SEE ATTACHMENT as sample data! The selected portion must be shaded say green and the next date group shaded orange, and the next one green, and the next group orange.) IE... something similar to when you use =MOD(---), to shade alternate rows!; but this must be on groups!
    Regards,
    Rudi
