Whilst reading this reply, press F1. This brings up the IE Help. Go to Keyboard Shortcuts and see if anything there helps. Your problem might be that you have Netscape Navigator...

I'm afraid I don't have a good solution for you. I've seen this behaviour myself where the Tab key acts like <Alt>Tab and switches windows. The only way I have been able to defeat it is to re-boot. This was discussed in this <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=hard&Number=22224&page= &view=&sb=&vc=1#Post22224>thread</A> in the hardware forum.

Everett, this is a common problem where the ALT key (and sometimes the Ctrl key) sticks. Just press the key a few times and the problem will go away. <img src=/S/lilputer.gif border=0 alt=lilputer width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/smash.gif border=0 alt=smash width=30 height=26>
