    GAL question (2000 sp3)

    Hello,

Is there a way to view the GAL on the Exchange server all by itself (similar to the wab.exe for outlook express)? I'm trying to create a link to it within an access db, but in order to do that it's going to need to be ran on it's own without the assist of a csv export.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Does this work?

Select File | Get External Data | Link Tables...
In "Files of Type", choose Outlook() or Exchange().
    Open Address Books.
    Click Global Address Book.
    Click Next.
    Click Finish.
    Click OK.

Hans, perhaps you should clarify that your menu steps are from within Access.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that for the benefit of others reading this thread. Since Mulk mentioned "I'm trying to create a link to it within an access db", it's probably obvious to him.
