    SpellCheck Button (2002)

    How can I put a Spellcheck Button directly on my form that will have the spellcheck box open?

    Put a command button on the form. Name it (for example) cmdSpelling. Create an On Click event procedure for the button:

    Private Sub cmdSpelling_Click()
    RunCommand acCmdSpelling
    End Sub

    1. Will this work for customer using Access runtime with no Word installed?
    2. Will this work for customer using Full Access without Word?

    Thanks, John

    1. If the user doesn't have any component of Office except Access Runtime, the proofing components of Office probably haven't been installed.

    2. No idea.
