Control Toolbox Tlbar shows whenever I open tmplt (2000)

I'm creating a template which has a couple of macros in it. Since I added the macros, the Control Toolbox Toolbar opens up whenever I open the template itself or create a document based on it. I'm no Word expert, and I have no clue how to make it so that the toolbar doesn't appear automatically. Any clues? Thanks.

Welcome to the Lounge! We just had a thread the other day referring to "Design Mode." It may be that the toolbox pops up until you exit design mode by "unclicking" the first button in the Control Toolbox. Does that help?

Thanks for the reply. It turns out I was indeed in Design Mode, but, sadly, turning it off didn't solve the problem. I was able to remove all the buttons from the toolbar and then dock it, though, so it's not much of a problem.
