    Can't Insert .tif (xp)

    Hello

I am having trouble inserting a .tif file into a PowerPoint presentation.
I click Insert | Picture | From File and then navigate to the .tif - which I currently have on my Desktop. When I click the Insert button, a Convert File dialog box opens. If I choose Tag Image File Format from the Convert File From list and click OK, I get an error message. "An error occured while importing this file. And it lists the file path and name."
Is there something wrong with the .tif?

    Thanks much.

It may be a corrupt .tif file, or it may be that you either don't have the convertor installed, or it is corrupt. Try another .tif file and see if it can be inserted. You might also try converting it to a .jpg with another graphics program, and then try inserting that.

We changed it to .jpg and it worked beautifully.
    Thanks very much!
