    msn.com email (not sure)

A friend's son (adult) recently passed away. The son apparently used msn.com for his email. The parents would like to "get" whatever email may be in his account - they have the password. How do they access msn.com for his email. He lived in Michigan but recently moved to their home in Arkansas, where he died. Do they have to use MSN Explorer to access the email account?

I think MSN mail is just a POP mail account, so they should be able to use Outlook Express (or whatever they like) to retrieve MSN mail. To respond to messages, they might need to use a secure authentication setup. If so, there probably is a help screen on how to do it on the MSN site somewhere.

The last time I look, MSN was webmail, but with some Outlook Express access..
When you goto MSN.com there is a "My MSN" and you should be able to access the account from there.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
