    Word XP StyleRef (Word XP)

On page 499 of Using Microsoft Office XP there is an example of using StyleRef to create a header for a phone list. It is {StyleRef "EmpName"} to {StyleRef "EmpName" 1}. I created the style and applied the above to the header. The first name in the directory comes up correctly, but I get an Error!Style not defined instead of the last name in the directory.

I have attached a sample Word doc which shows the problem. When I toggle on the field in question it appears to be the same as in the book. What am I doing wrong?

The switch should be L instead of 1. The L stands for Last.

Thanks. From the appearance in the book, the font used shows a "1" and an "l" as identical.
