How-to article on browsing (IE 6)

I am helping a delightful 94 year old lady learn how to use a computer. She has had her computer about 2 months. We have got email down pat. Now she wants to take on "surfing the net". By the way, her mind is sharp as a tack. She has palsy in her right hand which makes the use of the mouse challenging to say the least. Does anyone have a suggestion on articles on "how to surf the net" that would be appropriate. I have gotten her a couple of "dummy" books but I am looking for some articles totally focused on the internet. Thanks.

    Hey trebor,

I'd be delighted to help you and your young friend get surfin' the net safely and easily. I was gonna link you to a few of the pages on this Google search, but after chasing a couple of them down, I thought I better sent the entire search. They all have something worthwhile to offer. HTH.

I couldn't make the link connect to the page of search results for some reason, so here's the search term I used (keep the quotes) "How to surf the internet"

    trebor,
Also why not try to teach her to left hand mouse?
I don't have any problems with my right hand but I DO use my left hand even though I am "righty"

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!

We have a "track ball" mouse for her and it works pretty good. When she gets really shaky, she holds her right hand (which has the palsy) with her left hand. The amazing thing is how sharp she is mentally. She asks "tough" questions all the time. I can only hope that I will be near that sharp - if I even live that long.

Or 28 days after you place your order....
Sounds like they are only just gearing up production - but Paypal?!!!!! <img src=/S/flee.gif border=0 alt=flee width=25 height=25>

(Otherwise good to know something so useful has been devised.)
