    A floppy drive (xp proffessional)

    My icon for the Floppy drive A has dissapeared.The computer has been in transit in a car.Did it come out of its slot?Is it easy to slide back in?Thanks

    Open the case and check all the cable connections, especially those to the floppy drive, and be sure they are seated tightly. The car ride could have jiggled something loose.
