    Mail merge from Excel (2003)

    I've created a small mail-merge for labels, with an Excel file as the data source. Some of the data in the Excel file is expressed as a percentage. Those cells compute the percentage with a formula, using data from other cells. In Excel, the percentages look fine

    If you search for threads on specifying DDE as the method to access your Excel workbook, I believe you will find the workaround. Alternately, you might be able to wrap your merge field in another type of Word field that does the calculation and truncation, but that sounds like much more work. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
