    Bold Text in Concatenation (XP;SR3)

Is it possible to incorporate bold text within a concatenated formula?

    Example:
    A range named Year in Cell A1(A1 contents = 2005). Cell B1 formula = Concatenate("This Year ", & Year)

Cell B1's contents would look like this: This Year 2005

    Thanks,
    John

It is not possible to apply formatting to part of a formula result. Better leave the text in one cell and the year in the cell next to it. If you right-align the first and left-align the second, you'll get a result that looks like concatenation, while you can format the parts individually.

Note: your formula doesn't make sense - either use
    ="This Year " & Year
    or
    =CONCATENATE("This Year ",A1)
