    multiple windows in word 2000

Does anyone know how to keep office 2000/word 2000 from opening multiple windows whenever you open more than one document.

    Thanks,
    John

See the thread a few days ago called 'Word 2000 I want my MDI'

PS how do these clever people put in links to previous threads?

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=wrd&Number=40573&page=1&vie w=collapsed&sb=5> Here</A> is a link to the thread Ian was talking about.
The way I did it was to go to the post and copy the url from the address bar. I then came back here and posted the reply, pasting the copied url in the [ url=pastedurl ]here[ /url ] tags (where "pastedurl" was the pasted url) minus all the spaces.
You can go to the testing area and try it out.
    Hope that helps.
