    option groups (Access 2000)

    hello,
I have an option group and in this option group are two radio buttons. I also have a text box to accept the value selcted by the option group and this text boxs control source is set to =[grpOptionGroup] which is the name of the option group and the text box is set to not visible. I would like to know if there is a way ( i'm sure there is) to instead of getting a 1 or a 2 as a value in the text box i would like to get the field value to be displayed instead of the numeric value that corresponds with the radio button selection. The table that would supply the values only has two fields so it seems like to radio buttons would be a good choice. Any help is very much appreciated.

Say that you table is named tblLookup, with fields ID and Description. Set the Control Source of the text box to

    =DLookup("[Description]","[tblLookup]","[ID]=" & [grpOptionGroup])

Make that textbox into a combo box, and make it's controlsource = to the optiongroup.
