    Pivot table sources (Excel 2000)

I have two tables that have a common numbers like asset # and company number. But each as lots of different data, too. Question: I wantto make a pivot table with data from each. Do I have to grind those two together into one sheet-source, or can I specify multiple sources for a PT? Thanks.

Re: Pivot table sources (Excel 2000)

Excel can create a pivot table from multiple consolidation ranges, but all tables will need to have the same column structure. So you probably can't use that; you probably have to create a table that merges the two tables, and use that as source.
