Registry Settings (2003/SP1)

    Hi there,

Can anyone tell me what registry key holds the settings for 'Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-amil messages'? I've had a bit of a look and searched microsoft.com with no luck, so thought I'd try here as someone will most likely know! Just want to send a .reg file to users to edit this setting rather than them having to do so manually.

    Many thanks,

    Violet

    Hi Violet,

I just played around with the setting and the key appears to be:

HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0OutlookOption sMailEditorPreference

On my system with "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages" selected, the value is 131073, when it is not selected it is 131072

    Thanks Tony.

Odd - my values are the same as yours, however, my colleagues are completely different. I'll have a play around on some other machines, see what happens.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Violet

Outlook's Message Format Settings In The Registry shows the possible values.
