ghost links to user defined functions (XP office 2003)

I have a spreadsheet with user defined functions and also an XLA with the same user defined functions. Currently I am using the functions within the spreadsheet but I would like to change the links so when I use a functions in Excel the XLA is used instead of the module within the spreadsheet. But when I delete the module in the spreadsheet none of my functions work any more.

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

This seems to be a bug in Excel. There are two workarounds:
    - Precede the function name with the name of the add-in: =MyAddin.xla!MyFunction(...)
    or
    - Move or copy the worksheets to a new workbook, and recalculate all formulas.
