    Sort Order (2000 SP3)

When I look at my Contact folders in Outlook, they are sorted by Last Name, First Name. However, when I open a Contacts Folder to address an email the order is First Name Last Name. Since I don't always remember the first name of the person I am addressing the email to, how do I get the sort order to be Last Name, First Name?

Not really, there is no E-mail Accounts on my tools menu. Must be new in 2002.

However, in trying to find it I did stumble across the answer. If I go to Tools/Address Book then I find a Sort By on the View menu. Setting it there does what I want.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

FWIW Outlook 2000 has two different ways of accessing the E-Mail Accounts. From memory, it is Internet Mail Only where there was a Tools|E-Mail Accounts setting. Corporate Workgroup operates slightly differently. Tools|Services is somewhat equivalent to Tools|E-Mail Accounts, but not entirely. Anyway, glad you managed to get there. <img src=/S/thumbup.gif border=0 alt=thumbup width=15 height=15>

Well, I am Internet mail only, but I don't have either on my Tools menu. Tools/Accounts (the closest I see) does not take me to anything useful.
