    File Mask (XP Pro SP2)

Is there one or is anyone ever going to write an explorer add-on that addes file mask (wildcard) capability to the address bar? (Probably not possible, but I can wish.) I did purchase a little program called MyExplorerBar, but I would just prefer being able to use the address bar...silly me!

    Thanks!

That would be the purpose of 'search'. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> You should check out the various desktop search tools that are being released. This Google Search: desktop search tool will give you many to investigate.

Thanks, Joe, I do use the Google desktop search. It was more for file management purposes I wanted the file mask native in Windows Explorer. There are lots of explorer replacements, etc. that do better file management than Windows Explorer, I'll just stick with those.
