    Change event on a single cell (WinXP/O2003)

    Hi,

    I've got a "Data-list validation" control on a single cell (list fed by list in a hidden sheet)
    Is it possible to catch the change event on this single cell?

    I would like - when the text value of the cell changes, to run a number of macros.

    ;o) Henrik
    Bests,

    PS: Wish there were a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence. There's a knob called "brightness," but that doesn't work

    Re: Change event on a single cell (WinXP/O2003)

    Right-click the sheet tab.
    Select View Code.
    Paste the following event procedure into the worksheet module:

    Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Not Intersect(Target, Range("D37")) Is Nothing Then
    Application.EnableEvents = False
    ' call macros here
    Application.EnableEvents = True
    End If
    End Sub

    Replace D37 with the cell you want to monitor.
