Hello all,
I would like to know if there is a way to in a query when a user is prompted for an entry that instead of the user entering a value into a textbox that a combobox would be available for them to make a selection from. Or should I just build a form and have the selection on the form be passed as criteria to the query. I appreciate any answers I may recieve.

I would build a form with a combo box on it.

I don't believe you can put a combo box into a parameter prompt any other way.

The "standard" way to do this is to create a form with a combo box. You can refer to this combo box in the Criteria line of the query as

[Forms]![frmSelect]![cmbDropdown]

where frmSelect is the name of the form and cmbDropdown is the name of the combo box.

Thanks everybody. I thought that was probally the best/only way to go. Just thought I would check to make sure.
