    Help With SQL Syntax? (a2k (9.0.6926) SP-3 Jet 4.0 SP-8)

    I have a text box on a form that has Control Source that works set as follows:

    =DCount("[lngBPermitID]","[tblBPReqInsp]","[lngBPermitID] = " & [lngBPermitID])

    You can't set the control source of a control to an SQL statement. Why don't you want to use DCount any more?
