    start up listing DUMPREP (Win XP HOME)

    I am helping a friend with her WIN XP system. I ran MSCONFIG and found two listings as follows;

    Dumprep 0 -k and dumprep 0 -u

    The command for both starts as follows; %systemroot%system32dumprep 0 -k and %systemroot%system32dumprep 0 -u

    What are these and can I get rid of them>

    Re: start up listing DUMPREP (Win XP HOME)

    Dumprep is a part of Windows XP and is the Windows Error Reporting Dump Reporting Tool.

    There is no problem with them being enabled but if you want to disable them follow the proedure shown at Detail of dumprep 0 -k or dumprep 0 -u(dumprep 0 -k dumprep 0 -u) - Windows Startup Online Repository
